We Hosted Our First Guests as part of the International Credit Mobility Project (KA107)
Muş Alparslan University started cooperation with partner universities in Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Palestine, Ukraine and Kazakhstan within the scope of Erasmus International Credit Mobility Project (KA107), which allows student and staff exchange not only with European Union countries but also with other partner countries.
Muş Alparslan University hosted its guests from Kosovo Universum College between 23-26 August 2021 within the scope of this project. Within the framework of Erasmus+ KA107 Project Staff Training Mobility, the academic and administrative group of 7 staff from Universum College was welcomed by the Erasmus Office officials of our university. During the 4-day visit, guests were informed about our university and views were exchanged on possible collaborations. After the visits to our university campus and to the historical and natural beauties of Muş, the guests left our university.
Giving information about the visit, Erasmus Institutional Coordinator Lect. Yahya ADANIR stated the following; “As the Erasmus Office, two of our projects that we presented to the Turkish National Agency in both 2020 and 2021 were entitled to receive grants. Due to the pandemic, we could not put into practice our projects, which cover mutual student and staff exchange with higher education institutions in Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Palestine, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, with a budget of approximately 250 thousand euros. However, with the transition of many countries to face-to-face education starting from the 2021-2022 academic year, we have started to implement our projects gradually. In this context, we first hosted a group of 7 academic and administrative staff from our project partner, Kosova Universum College. During this academic year, we will also exchange students and staff with our other project partner countries. Our partner institutions will choose the students and staff who will participate in the exchange program under our coordination. We will also soon make an announcement for the students and staff whom we will send to our partner countries. Within the scope of these projects, a total of 36 personnel and 15 students from our institution will benefit from these activities. On the other hand, the same number of students and staff from our partner countries will participate in the mobility in our institution. We will continue our efforts to ensure the continuation of these projects, which we believe will contribute greatly to the internationalization of our university.”
