TRANSPORTATION
Muş is in good state in terms of transportation. There are land route, railway and air way accesses. The transportation in Muş city center is provided with minibuses and municipality buses.
Transportation Between the University and the City Center
The transportation is provided with municipality buses (blue buses) and the journey takes approximately 20 minutes. The payment is done by MuşKart which you can buy in many central points in the city centre. Each boarding costs about 4 liras. During lesson hours, the buses operate every 10-15 minutes. At other times, they operate every 30 minutes beginning at 7.00 in the morning and ending at 00.00.
Transportation to/from Other Cities and Countries
Land Route: There are lots of daily bus services to many cities of Turkey such as İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Bursa, Antalya, Adana, Mersin and etc.
Air Way: Muş Sultan Alparslan Airport is 18 km away from the city center. There are direct flights from Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir and Bursa. These are;

There are also many connected flights from other cities such as Antalya, Samsun, Adana and etc.
Railway: There is also railway transportation in our city. There are two trains a week between Ankara-Muş, on Tuesday and Sunday. The journey takes around 22 hours.
In order to come from Istanbul to Muş, fast trains can be used between Istanbul-Ankara and the journey takes around 4 hours.
