Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) Document Has Been Renewed Until 2027
Our university, which has applied for the renewal of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), which is required for the continuation of Erasmus activities in the fields of education, training, youth and sports, has been awarded this document. Having been accepted by the European Commission and delivered to our university, the document was signed by Fethi Ahmet POLAT and entered into force. With this document, we have obtained the right to apply for grants for all Erasmus programs in higher education activities which will be carried out by the National Agency and the European Union Commission between 2021-2027.
Providing information about the subject, Erasmus Institutional Coordinator Yahya Adanır stated the following; “All higher education institutions in Turkey are required to have ECHE document in order to benefit from all types of student and staff mobilities and all types of Erasmus projects in the field of higher education. The validity period of the document we received in 2014 had expired as of this year. In order to benefit from the program to be implemented between 2021-2027, the application we made at the end of last year has been accepted and delivered to us. In the previous periods, more than 400 students and staff have benefited from the Erasmus program and carried out educational activities in Europe. In the next 7 years, our goal is to enable at least 600 students and staff to benefit from this program. "
